Nest

  Nest, 2013, made from galvinised tie wire. This work was selected as a finalist in the 2013 Waiheke Community Art Gallery Small Sculpture Prize, judged by Matt Ellwood. The sculpture is slightly larger than most real birds’ nests at approx. 260mm diameter x 90mm high and is made from assorted sizes of galvinized wire.

March 2013 saw my ‘Tangle’ drawing sitting on display in the Artsight window on Flowers St. This is a white pencil on black paper, A1 drawing, and references the idea of process and transformation that I continue to explore. Detail of the work:

Artweek 2016

As part of Artweek 2016 I’ll be opening up my city-based studio along with a wealth of other creative folk at the Sunday School Building in October. Details and images to come. I’m also part of Lyn Dallison’s LOOK at K’ Road and will be creating something for Johnny Feedback on Pitt St.
