Artweek in October 2012 saw Carol Green and I working collaboratively to create a three dimensional work for the street front window of Foodini’s on Auckland’s Karangahape Road. Scribble: inside out illustrated the physical act of drawing and was made from a combination of galvinized wire, builder’s foam, electrical wires, and discarded technological materials. Built in situ, the intention was to subvert the interior and exterior space, creating a chaotic narrative that referenced the less than salubrious history of the area.
